Cruise the Awe-Inspiring Adriatic Sea from Venice to Athens

Begin your Adriatic Sea cruise in romantic Venice before sailing to Piran, Slovenia, known for its vibrant cultural events and festivals.

Zadar, Croatia lives up to its nickname La Serenissima (most serene). Then, it’s on to a late-night stay at another UNESCO World Heritage Site: Dubrovnik. The city is simply outstanding, with massive stone walls, winding streets, and charming squares dating back to the 7th century. Next is Kotor, Montenegro, one of the best-preserved medieval towns on the Adriatic.

Then, sail to the fairy-tale island of Corfu, where turquoise blue waters and gorgeous sandy beaches await. Argostoli on the island of Kefalonia is next, followed by a calm day at sea. Your immersive experience continues in the largest city on the isle of Crete, Heraklion. Covering 5,500 years of Cretan history, the Heraklion Archaeological Museum is filled with ancient artifacts, pottery, sculptures, wall paintings, and a Minoan collection showcasing true masterpieces.

Then, head to the volcanic beaches, white cobblestone streets, and vibrant tavernas of Santorini, before concluding your voyage in the history-rich city of Athens.

Cruise Highlights:

  • In romantic Venice, discover the boutiques and cafés along Rio di San Trovaso, visit a Murano glass factory, sample Veneto wines, and take a sunset gondola ride.
  • In Olympia (Katakolon), Greece, discover the home of Olympia and its stadium, temples, and monuments dating back to 776 BC.
  • Visit landmarks including The Acropolis, Hadrian’s Arch, Panathenaic Stadium, and Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens (Piraeus).
