Tianjin

One day is simply not enough in Tianjin and Beijing, so make sure to see some of the essential sights before your cruise departs. Cruise from Beijing to visit the Great Wall of China at Huangya Pass, located about an hour and a half from town. If youre an adventure junky, try climbing to the top of Widows Peak, the highest point of this portion of the wall, and snap a few breathtaking photos.

Dalian

Reputed to be one of China's cleanest and most beautiful cities, Dalian is an ancient shipping port affectionately called the "Sparkling Pearl On the Bohai Sea". It is home to four finely landscaped beach parks and the acclaimed International Fashion Festival.

Shanghai

Still shaking off 40 years of oblivion and its Communist clothes, the biggest city in the biggest country on Earth is undergoing a massive rebirth. Though still battered, its thrust of energy is leading the way for the city to re-establishing itself as the Paris of China.

Naha Okinawa

The only place in Japan with a subtropical climate, Okinawa radiates a relaxed island vibe, with its sunny skies, clear blue oceans and warm weather year-round.

Ishigaki

The most cosmopolitan island in the Yaeyama Island Group of Okinawa, Ishigakis subtropical climate means its beach weather all year round here ? the island is rimmed with powdery white beaches and sky-blue waters teeming with coral reefs. Cruise to Ishigaki and take the one-hour hike up Okinawas highest peak, Mt. Otomo, and marvel at the ocean views dotted with neighboring islands. Hong Kong
