Day 1 / London, England - Tour Begins
Your tour opens in London, the United Kingdom's dynamic capital. This evening, get a taste of contemporary British fare as you join your fellow travellers for a meal highlighting London’s culinary renaissance.
Day 2 / London
Start your morning with a local in London. You’ll kick off your day with a walking tour of Westminster, where you will see the exteriors of Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Continue to Buckingham Palace, the official residence of His Majesty The King, to witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony. This afternoon, head over to Windsor Castle. Originally built to guard the city of London, Windsor Castle has been the home of kings and queens for nine centuries and is the oldest royal residence still in use today. The evening is yours to do as you wish.
Day 3 / London
After a hearty breakfast, enjoy some free time this morning to spend how you please. This afternoon, travel by Tube to London’s famous Covent Garden Market. Take time to wander and peruse the many stalls of fresh produce and quirky shops. After, sit down for a quintessential afternoon tea.
Day 4 / London - Paris, France
Allons-y! Today, you’re on to Paris! Hop aboard the Eurostar high-speed train to get there in just two hours. A sophisticated metropolis of style and culture, Paris’ bustling city streets are filled with colourful history, fascinating museums, renowned monuments and grand theatres. Settle in for your four-night stay in the “City of Light” as you join for a walk to get acquainted with the neighbourhood.
Day 5 / Paris
This morning, it’s your choice! Take in the most iconic sights of Paris on a panoramic city tour. With your local guide, see the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Place de la Concorde -OR- step into the shoes of a local and navigate Le Métro on your way to the hilltop neighbourhood of Montmartre and its iconic Sacré-Cœur Basilica. As your day comes to a close, make the most of an evening at leisure. If you’d prefer to do something with the group, you can enjoy an optional dinner at the Paradis Latin** for a champagne-flowing, can-can kicking, music-driven night at the cabaret.
Day 6 / Paris
Be romanced by Paris – the whole day is yours for the taking. Perhaps you’ll wander over to the Left Bank of the Seine and plunge into the bohemian atmosphere of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighbourhood and the Latin Quarter. Or, join an optional excursion to Versailles, where you’ll explore King Louis XIV’s magnificent Palace and Gardens.** Relive history as you walk through the various rooms of the State Apartments, including the famous Hall of Mirrors. If you’re looking for a unique way to spend your evening, enjoy an optional spin the wheels of time from the backseat of a retro car. You’ll cruise through the chic boulevards to the Montmartre neighbourhood, where hip bohemia meets heaven-seeking basilicas.
Day 7 / Paris
This morning, step into the kitchens of an authentic Parisian bakery! See the workspaces and the various tools and machines these bakers use to make their delicious products and learn about some of the secrets and history of baking, baguettes, and croissants. It’s your last afternoon in Paris – how will you spend it? Should you indulge in some of the world's best shopping on the Champs-Elysees, or simply do as the Parisians do and sit at a sidewalk café, watching the beauty that is Paris go by? No matter what you decide, end the day with a romantic Seine River cruise set against Paris’ glittering skyline. After, experience an exclusive dinner at the Eiffel Tower featuring French cuisine and breathtaking views.
Day 8 / Paris - Amsterdam, Netherlands
Board a high-speed train and take off for Amsterdam, the thriving 800-year-old capital of Holland. After some time to settle in, meet up with a local guide to get acquainted with the Jordaan District of Amsterdam. Explore this charming neighbourhood and learn of its rich multicultural roots during a walking food tour where you’ll taste traditional Dutch fare as you walk along the canals and historic homes between stops.
Day 9 / Amsterdam
Stroll through the city with a local expert. Get acquainted with the cosy lanes and quintessential Dutch houses as you wander along the canals that lead to Amsterdam’s museum district. Explore the Rijksmuseum with your local guide and experience works from the great Dutch masters such as Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh. Enjoy an afternoon on your own to do as you please. Perhaps you’ll choose to explore the Anne Frank House,* a museum dedicated to the memory of the young diarist who documented her time in hiding during WWII.
Day 10 / Amsterdam
The day is yours. Explore the narrow canals, stone bridges, and bike-brimmed roads at your leisure. Perhaps you’ll choose to see the city from a different perspective and embark on a canal cruise or spend some time relaxing at a café. Maybe take the train to The Hague to see the renowned Girl with a Pearl Earring in the Mauritshuis Museum.
Day 11 / Amsterdam
Bid Amsterdam farewell as your extension comes to a close today.

Day 1 / Amsterdam (Embark)
Arrive at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. If your cruise package includes a group arrival transfer or if you have purchased a private arrival transfer, you will be greeted by a Uniworld representative and transferred to the ship.
Day 2 / Cologne
History buffs will enjoy an expertly led tour through Cologne’s Old Town, where three medieval gates remain standing, as does the old city hall with its Renaissance façade. Wander through the city’s historical center and take in its charming atmosphere, narrow alleyways flanked by old houses, and countless breweries. No matter how you choose to explore Old Town, you’ll also have ample free time to explore on your own.

Day 3 / Koblenz, Boppard
Get to know Koblenz, a historic town with a colorful past and eclectic architecture, and enjoy a visit to the stunningly medieval Marksburg Castle.
Day 4 / Boppard, Rüdesheim
Experience Germany’s fabled Rhine River in beautiful Rüdesheim. Enjoy a private tasting of estate-grown Rieslings at Castle Vollrads or explore Rüdesheim and the impressive Niederwald monument.
Day 5 / Germersheim (Speyer)
Speyer—“spire” in English—is well named, since the four red towers of the Romanesque cathedral dominate the Old Town.
Day 6 / Kehl (Strasbourg)
See Strasbourg on foot with an insightful local expert, where this historic town with its cobbled lanes, half-timbered homes, giant stork nests, and impossible-to-resist pastry shops will win your heart. Kehl, directly across the river from Strasbourg, will be your ship’s base while you explore the Alsatian capital. If you’re feeling adventurous, take advantage of Uniworld’s bicycles or Nordic walking sticks and explore the banks of the river.
You have the entire afternoon to see more of Strasbourg on your own.
Day 7 / Breisach
Breisach is your gateway to the Alsatian wine road and your launching point for an excursion along the celebrated Route des Vins, which hugs the foothills of the Vosges mountain range.

Day 8 / Basel (Disembark)
Disembark the ship. If your cruise package includes a group departure transfer or if you have purchased a private departure transfer, you will be transferred to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg for your flight home (unless, of course, you’ve decided to extend your trip with the post-cruise extension to lovely Lake Lucerne).
